Izmir's 30 August Victory Day 104th anniversary celebration program announced
Within the framework of the 30 August Victory Day celebration program to be held in Izmir, official ceremonies, military band concerts, and Coast Guard boat visits will be carried out.
Within the scope of the celebration program for the 104th anniversary of 30 August Victory Day, coordinated by the Izmir Governorship, an official ceremony will be held at Cumhuriyet Square, military bands will give concerts, and Coast Guard boats will be opened to visitors.
Cumhuriyet Square Ceremony
The celebrations will begin on Sunday, August 30 at 09:30 with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument, a moment of silence, and the singing of the National Anthem. Following the congratulation ceremony at the Governorship, the celebrations at Cumhuriyet Square will commence.
Protocol Participation
At the ceremony, Izmir Governor Dr. Süleyman Elban, Aegean Army and Garrison Commander Lieutenant General Zorlu Topaloğlu, and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay will celebrate the public's holiday.
Military Band Concerts
Military bands will give concerts at various points in Izmir on August 27, 28, and 30, spreading the enthusiasm of the holiday throughout the city.
Coast Guard Boat Visit
Boats affiliated with the Coast Guard Aegean Sea Regional Command will be opened for citizens to visit in Konak and Urla.
