An Approximately 4-Lira Discount Expected in Diesel Prices
Following the decline in international oil prices, a discount of approximately 4 TL per liter is expected for diesel in Turkey, with prices projected to drop to around 80 TL in major cities.
In line with the decline in global oil markets, a downward movement is expected in fuel prices in Turkey. According to information obtained from industry sources, the discount of approximately 4 TL, which will be reflected in the diesel liter price, is anticipated to take effect as of August 27, 2026.
Decline in Oil Prices Reflected at the Pump
The downward movement in oil prices in international markets directly affects domestic fuel prices. Industry representatives state that a significant discount will be made in diesel prices following this decline.
Effective Date of the Discount and New Prices
The planned discount of approximately 4 TL in the liter price of diesel is expected to be reflected in pump prices as of 00:01 midnight, connecting August 26 to August 27.
With this discount, it is calculated that diesel liter prices in Turkey's major cities will drop back to the level of 80 TL.
