Impact of Global Markets

In global markets, the US sanctions plan against Iran remaining more limited than expected and the sharp decline in oil prices supported risk appetite. However, a mixed course was observed in the markets ahead of the Nvidia balance sheet to be announced tomorrow.

Domestically, the selling pressure triggered by uncertainties regarding global trade policies and geopolitical developments was effective in the BIST 100 index closing the day with a selling trend.

Technical Levels and Expectations

Analysts stated that the domestic data agenda will be calm in the next trading day, while abroad, personal consumption expenditures and annualized gross domestic product (GDP) data to be announced in the US will be monitored.

From a technical perspective, while the 14,400 and 14,300 point levels are in a support position for the BIST 100 index, the 14,600 and 14,700 point levels will be monitored as resistance in case of potential increases.
