According to the Weekly Economic Calendar report prepared by Ahlatcı Yatırım, domestic and foreign markets will focus on Turkey's second-quarter growth data, inflation indicators, global interest rate decisions, and US employment data.

Turkey's growth and unemployment data

On the first trading day of the week at 10.00, Turkey's second-quarter Gross Domestic Product data will be released, with the market expectation pointing to an annual growth of 2.9 percent.

At the same hour, the unemployment rate data for July will also be shared with the public to be monitored by economic circles.

Manufacturing PMI and inflation indicators

On Tuesday, September 1, at 10.00, the August manufacturing PMI data will be released, followed immediately by the consumer price index data at 12.00.

Within the framework of market expectations, there is a forecast that annual inflation will realize at the level of 3.3 percent.

Global central bank interest rate decisions

On Wednesday, September 2, two important interest rate decisions will be monitored in global markets, with critical rates being announced in the morning and later in the day.

While there is an expectation of 2.75 percent for the first of the interest rate decisions to be announced, the market expectation for the other decision stands out at the level of 2.25 percent.

US employment and energy inventories

On Wednesday, an increase of 47 thousand is expected in the ADP private sector employment data to be announced in the US, and Energy Information Administration crude oil inventories will also be monitored.

On Thursday, weekly initial jobless claims are expected to be at the level of 205 thousand, and services and non-manufacturing PMI data will also be monitored.

Non-farm payrolls and earnings

On the final trading day of the week, an increase of 58 thousand is projected in the non-farm payrolls data regarding the employment outlook of the US economy.

While the unemployment rate to be announced at the same hour is expected to be 4.1 percent, average hourly earnings are projected to increase by 0.3 percent on a monthly basis.
