University of Economics and Technology for Industries Opens New Energy Automotive Workshop

The University of Economics and Technology for Industries has officially inaugurated a practical training workshop geared toward the new energy automotive industry at its Ninh Binh and Hanoi campuses.

Workshop Opening and Campuses

The University of Economics and Technology for Industries operates under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. On August 27, 2026, the school held the opening ceremony for the practical training workshop prepared for the new energy automotive industry at both the My Xa campus and the Linh Nam campus.

International Cooperation and Equipment

This practical workshop was established on the basis of cooperation between the University of Economics and Technology for Industries and Sichuan City Vocational College in China. The training workshop is equipped with facilities and equipment valued at over 1 million yuan.

Training Areas and Expert Support

The facility includes training and practical application areas focusing on new energy vehicles, battery testing and repair, high-voltage operation, and specialized training equipment systems. Starting in September 2026, students will receive direct instruction from experienced lecturers coming from Sichuan City Vocational College.

Industry Transition and Vision

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Rector of the University of Economics and Technology for Industries, emphasized that the automotive sector is facing a strong transition from traditional fuel-powered vehicles toward electric vehicles and new energy vehicles.
