Daybreak Models Are Now Available Through Amazon Bedrock
Daybreak capabilities, including Daybreak Red and Daybreak Blue models, are now accessible with Amazon Bedrock on AWS.
OpenAI has announced that Daybreak capabilities, featuring the Daybreak Blue and Daybreak Red models, are now available on AWS through Amazon Bedrock. This move enables enterprise security teams to utilize advanced cybersecurity models within their existing AWS infrastructure.
AWS Integration of Daybreak Models
Following the previous general availability of OpenAI frontier models and Codex on AWS, Daybreak capabilities are now accessible via Amazon Bedrock.
Through Daybreak Access, cyber defenders can securely run frontier cyber models within their existing AWS environments.
Daybreak Blue and Red Access Tiers
Daybreak Blue provides access to frontier general-purpose models, including GPT-5.6 Sol, featuring specialized protections for authorized defensive security work.
Daybreak Red houses cybersecurity models specifically trained for authorized vulnerability research, exploit validation, and security testing.
Workflows and Enterprise Benefits
These models accelerate vulnerability research, detection engineering, and incident response from initial discovery to a verified fix.
Additionally, the system supports complex enterprise workflows such as exploit reproduction and mitigation development.
Access and Getting Started Process
Enterprise adoption requires a security review, governance, procurement, access controls, and a supportable operating model.
Eligible customers wishing to use the Daybreak Red and Blue models must enroll in the Daybreak Access program.
