Legal Framework for Terror-Free Turkey Process Enters into Force
The Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration has been published in the Official Gazette and enacted.
The Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, which forms the legal infrastructure of the Terror-Free Turkey process, has been approved by President Tayyip Erdoğan and entered into force in the Official Gazette.

The Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, approved by President Tayyip Erdoğan, has officially entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette, establishing the legal framework of the process.
First Meeting Date of the Board
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the first meeting of the Monitoring, Coordination, and Implementation Board, which will oversee the process, is planned to be held on Monday, August 24.
Board Members and Structure
The board, to be convened under the chairmanship of the Vice President, will be attended by the Ministers of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Interior, and National Defense, as well as the Presidential Secretary General, the Head of the MIT, and the Secretary General of the NSC.
Coordination and Sub-Commissions
During the meeting, sub-commissions to be formed in accordance with the requirements of the disarmament and dissolution process will be discussed, and headings requiring inter-institutional coordination will be evaluated in detail.
Commission to be Established by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
The Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will also carry out efforts to establish a special Monitoring Commission to closely monitor and supervise the implementation processes of the relevant law.
Weapon Surrender Process
In the first stage of the process, the surrender of weapons and ammunition by PKK/KCK members will take place, and security institutions along with the National Security Council will confirm developments at this stage.
