Tourist Travel and Time Limit

According to the published decree, Syrian citizens holding diplomatic passports will be exempt from visas for a maximum period of 90 days within each 180-day period for their tourist-purpose travels to Türkiye.

Transit Passages and Assignments

The regulation covers not only tourist visits but also transit passages to be carried out via Türkiye. Persons with this status will be able to travel without the requirement of a visa during transit passages within the specified time limits.

In addition, the said visa exemption application will also be valid in the event that Syrian citizens holding diplomatic passports are appointed to an official duty in Türkiye.
