24-Hour Nursery Support Application for Healthcare Workers Begins
The 24-hour nursery and kindergarten project implemented for the children of healthcare workers is being put into practice this year at 7 pilot locations consisting of major hospitals.
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced in a statement in Burdur that the 24-hour nursery and kindergarten service for the children of healthcare workers will be implemented in 7 hospitals this year.
Burdur Visit and Hospital Status
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu visited Burdur to hold a series of contacts and examinations. Visiting the Burdur Governorate and attending the Provincial Evaluation Meeting, Minister Memişoğlu made a press statement after the meeting. In the statement made, it was stated that Burdur State Hospital will be converted into a Training and Research Hospital status and will work together with the faculty of medicine.
Eşeler Project and Personnel Structure
Stating during his Burdur contacts that the Eşeler State Hospital project has also reached its final stage, Minister Memişoğlu drew attention to the structure of healthcare personnel across Turkey. Emphasizing that the total number of healthcare workers exceeds 1.5 million, Memişoğlu pointed out that more than 60 percent of this staff consists of female employees.
24-Hour Nursery Application
A new restructuring has been undertaken to ease the workload of female healthcare workers and all personnel in their business lives. The first step is being taken for the project, which is planned to offer uninterrupted 24-hour nursery service starting from major hospitals. This nursery and kindergarten service, where employees can safely entrust their children, will become operational in a total of 7 hospitals within this year.
