Vietnam Social Security announced that health insurance participants can change their initially registered medical examination and treatment locations within the first 15 days of each quarter. The process takes a maximum of 3 days and is completely free of charge.
Specified Time Intervals for Changes
Individuals under health insurance can change their registered healthcare provider within the first 15 days of each quarter. This change period covers the first 15 days of January, April, July, and October of each year.
Healthcare Facility Selection Criteria
Insured citizens can choose a primary healthcare facility suitable for their residence, workplace, place of study, and the patient capacity of the respective facility. Selections are made according to the established order of priority.
Application and Tracking Methods
Citizens are required to prepare the TK1-TS form for the change process. Applications can be made directly to the agency, sent via postal mail, or completed online through the Public Service Portal. The results of the process are tracked via the VssID application.
