ASELSAN Children's Festival Brings Science and Technology Together with Children in Ordu
Opening its doors in Ordu as part of the Turkey Culture Route Festival, the ASELSAN Children's Festival offers children a fun learning environment with interactive experience areas and technology exhibitions.
Realized within the scope of the Turkey Culture Route Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the ASELSAN Children's Festival brings children together with science, technology, and entertainment in Ordu between August 22 and 29. The festival aims to support children's sense of curiosity and raise generations that design the technologies of the future.
Tekno Macera and the Museum of Inventors
The Tekno Macera Truck, prepared within the scope of ASELSAN's corporate social responsibility project Tekno Macera, takes children in Ordu on a journey of discovery in the world of science and technology. The Museum of Inventors Exhibition Area located in the festival venue brings significant inventions and inventors that changed the course of human history together with children.
While discovering technological developments from past to present, children also find the opportunity to closely observe how these important inventions inspire ASELSAN's approach to innovation.
Augmented Reality and Interactive Experiences
The "Tekno Maceracılar, Bir Doğa Yolculuğu" Interactive Digital Book Experience Area at the festival offers children a different learning experience by using augmented reality technology. ASEL, one of the Tekno Macera characters, also accompanies children with its structure animated using 2D motion technique and original voiceover.
In these areas where children do not remain mere spectators but directly participate, it is aimed to make the processes of discovery and production more enjoyable. Furthermore, children's interest in science is reinforced with organized Science Shows and various field activities.
