Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Reviews Science and Technology Framework

The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a comprehensive meeting to review the completion of the institutional framework and legal documents for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation throughout the province.

Purpose of the Meeting and Participants

On the afternoon of August 26, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to review the completion of the institutional framework for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the province.

This important meeting was chaired by Ms. Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Review of Legal Documents and Current Status

Representatives from the Provincial People's Committee Office and various departments and units attended the meeting and provided briefings on the ongoing work.

According to the report presented by the Department of Science and Technology, a comprehensive review of legal documents identified 25 documents in the sector requiring processing and 5 documents to be implemented.

Reflection of Administrative Structure Changes

Regarding the legal documents affected by the reorganization of the administrative structure and the implementation of the two-tier local government system, there are 14 documents that need to be processed.

As of August 22, 2026, the Department of Science and Technology has completed the processing of 4 out of these 14 documents, while 10 documents are under development.

Management Request for New Regulations and Updates

Concluding the meeting, Ho Thi Nguyen Thao requested relevant units to focus on improving the institutional framework in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Thao requested that newly enacted laws be promptly translated into legal documents, obsolete ones be weeded out, and missing documents be updated.
