Record Application Excitement in TÜBİTAK's 2026 Technology Competitions
Organized by TÜBİTAK within the scope of the National Technology Move, the 16 technology competitions are being held with record applications in 2026, while the finals continue in various provinces.
In line with Turkey's National Technology Move vision, the 16 technology competitions organized by TÜBİTAK within the scope of TEKNOFEST are attracting intense interest from young people with record application numbers broken in 2026. The awards for the competitions, which continue in various provinces, will find their owners in Şanlıurfa between September 30 and October 4.
Competition Schedule and Award Ceremony
The excitement of technology competitions held in different provinces across Turkey continues unabated. The finals of all these critical organizations, carried out in various distinct categories, are being completed.
Successful teams that earn the right to rank will receive their awards at the Şanlıurfa GAP Airport within the scope of TEKNOFEST between September 30 and October 4.
Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Projects
The International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races, which encourage alternative energy sources, received 315 applications this year. The final races are being organized at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus.
The Robotaxi race in the field of autonomous driving algorithms broke a record in 2026 with 1,201 applications and reached its grand final at the Kocaeli Informatics Valley.
Aircraft and Rocket Competitions
The International and High School Unmanned Aerial Vehicle competitions are being held at the Malatya Tulga Airport. The high school category received 6,463 applications.
The Vertical Landing Rocket Competition aims to land rockets onto the target using cold gas propulsion systems and is organized at the TÜBİTAK SAGE Campus.
Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technologies
The Artificial Intelligence in Aviation and Chip Design competitions bring young technology enthusiasts together at the Diyarbakır Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center.
The Quantum Technologies Competition shapes the ecosystem with its hardware and software categories at TÜBİTAK UME and the Kocaeli Informatics Valley.
