SpaceX's $100 Billion Space Base Investment in Louisiana
The company aims to conduct thousands of launches annually and increase space flights with the new facility to be built in Louisiana.
SpaceX has announced that it will build Starbase Louisiana, its fourth and largest launch base, with a massive $100 billion investment in the state of Louisiana. The construction of the giant facility is planned to begin in 2027, with the first launch targeted for 2029.

In the announcement made by SpaceX, it was stated that the new facility to be established aims to host thousands of launches per year and significantly increase the number of space flights.
Employment and Economic Contribution
Over the next 10 years, the company is expected to create three thousand new direct jobs, while it was also noted that over eight thousand indirect employment opportunities will be provided.
Structural Features of the Complex
When completed, the facility will feature five launch complexes, each with two launch pads and a propellant facility. The project will include propellant facilities, power generation plants, a vehicle processing center, and residences.
