The suspect, Farris, is expected to appear before a judge next week to face two separate felony charges.

In a decision handed down on Thursday, the grand jury formally charged Farris with defacing a veterans memorial and damaging government property.
An attorney representing Farris did not immediately respond to emails and requests for comment sent on Friday.
Details of the Vandalism
Melissa Farris allegedly spray-painted the words "Clean hands dirty $" on the monumental structure on August 13 and filled the pool with foam.
Following her initial court appearance, a decision was issued on August 17 to release her.
