Event Preferences and Participation Rates
45.8% of the people who participated in the survey explicitly stated that they did not attend any cultural and artistic activities within the past year.
Among the segments that attended events, concerts ranked at the top of the most preferred areas with a rate of 33.9%.
High Ticket Prices and Barriers
High ticket and admission fees came at the top of the factors making participation in cultural and artistic events difficult, with a rate of 45%.
In second place, with a rate of 38.1%, was the inability to find time due to busy schedules such as work and school.
Social Spaces and Spending Cuts
Under the influence of economic conditions, the category where the most savings were made was spending on social spaces such as restaurants and cafes, at 41.4%.
Additionally, 39.8% of the participants stated that they did not cut back on any spending category.
Digital Content Consumption and Habits
The proportion of those who preferred social media and digital content over physical events was recorded as 28.5%.
The average daily digital entertainment consumption time of Istanbul residents was calculated to be approximately 3 hours and 8 minutes.
