Corrections Policy
How error reports, content corrections, and significant changes are reviewed and handled.
Reporting an error
If you believe a passage is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, use our contact page and include the content link with a short explanation. Please provide a supporting source when possible.
Review
Reports are assessed by comparing the published text, available sources, and the current state of the event. A difference of opinion is not automatically a factual error, but verifiable inaccuracies are corrected.
How corrections are made
Minor spelling or formatting errors that do not change meaning may be fixed directly. When a material change affects a headline, central claim, date, person, or conclusion, the content is updated and the nature of the correction is explained when appropriate.
Removal requests
Content is not removed merely because it is disliked. Legal duties, privacy, safety, serious accuracy problems, and breaches of publishing principles are evaluated individually.
