Troia and Rome Exhibition at the Rome Colosseum Reaches Over Two Million Visitors
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the Troia and Rome exhibition at the Rome Colosseum has reached over two million and sixty thousand visitors.
In a statement on his social media account, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the Troia and Rome exhibition, opened to visitors at the Colosseum in Rome, reached a visitor count of 2,066,178 and emphasized cultural diplomacy.

Stating that the story of Troia met with millions in Rome, Ersoy expressed that the exhibition reached a total of 2,066,178 visitors.
Cultural Cooperation and Artifacts
Within the scope of cultural cooperation carried out with Italy, the exhibition opened at the Colosseum features 221 artifacts from museums affiliated with the Ministry.
Together with artifacts provided from Italian and Vatican museums, a total of over 300 artifacts are meeting visitors at the exhibition.
Common Historical Heritage
The exhibition conveys to the world a shared historical heritage stretching from the Trojan War to Homer's Iliad, and from Aeneas's journey to Italy to the Anatolian origins of Rome's founders.
Opening and Visiting Dates
Prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Italian Ministry of Culture, the exhibition was inaugurated with a special ceremony on June 11 and opened to visitors on June 12.
The Troia and Rome exhibition will continue to host its visitors until October 18, 2026.
