Artifacts Featured in the Exhibition

Within the scope of cultural cooperation carried out with Italy, 221 artifacts from museums affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism were featured in the exhibition opened at the Colosseum. Together with those brought from Italian and Vatican museums, a total of over 300 artifacts were presented to visitors.

Shared Historical Heritage and Cooperation

It was emphasized that the exhibition narrates to the world a shared historical heritage extending from the Trojan War to Homer's Iliad, from Aeneas's journey to Italy to the Anatolian origins of Rome's founders. It was stated that ties between Turkey and Italy continue to be strengthened through cultural diplomacy.

Date Information and Timeline

Prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Italian Ministry of Culture, the exhibition opened with a special ceremony on June 11. It was shared that the exhibition, which opened to visitors on June 12, will remain open until October 18, 2026.
