The total transaction volume generated in the markets during the session stood at 198.2 billion liras.
Top Gainers and Losers on a Sectoral Basis
Among the sector indices, the financial leasing and factoring sector gained the most with an increase of 6.10 percent.
The sector that lost the most value was recorded as chemistry, petroleum, and plastics, with a decline of 4.43 percent.
Additionally, the banking index lost 0.03 percent, while the holding index lost 1.22 percent in value.

In global markets, the US sanctions plan against Iran remaining more limited than expected was monitored.

Analysts stated that from a technical perspective, the 14,400 and 14,300 point levels for the BIST 100 index are in a support position.
In potential upward movements, the 14,600 and 14,700 point levels stand out as resistance.
