In the rural Pınarlar Neighborhood of Tufanbeyli, increased yields and quality thanks to this season's rainfall have brought joy to producers, while the chickpea harvest is carried out with harvesters and the product finds buyers at 100 liras per kilogram.
Harvest Season and Production Details
The harvest time has arrived for the chickpeas planted in the soil in the rural Pınarlar Neighborhood of Tufanbeyli.
Producer Mehmet Tokdemir has started harvesting the chickpeas he grew on an area of approximately 50 decares using harvesters.
Contribution of Rainfall to Yield
Stating that this year's rainfall provided a major contribution to chickpea production, the producers expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the harvested product.
Market Price and Sales Status
Mehmet Tokdemir stated that following an abundant and fruitful season, the price of chickpeas found buyers at 100 TL per kilogram.
