Iranian Economy Minister Medenizade announced that the government has prepared a two-year plan against new US sanctions and economic pressure, and that they are fully prepared for all possible scenarios.

Two-Year Plan and Sanction Preparations

Making statements to Iranian state television, Economy Minister Medenizade reported that a comprehensive two-year plan was created within the scope of the country's economic management. Stating that all developments and possible situations are evaluated within the framework of this plan, Medenizade conveyed that the government has long been making preparations to counter US sanctions and that they are fully prepared for new sanctions.

Sectoral Damage and Reconstruction Efforts

Stating that the war has damaged the country's economy in the ongoing process, Medenizade noted that the steel and petrochemical sectors in particular were affected by the attacks. The minister expressed that a reconstruction process was initiated to reactivate damaged production facilities in a short time and that efforts are being made to address supply shortages in the market.

Naval Blockade and Global Financial Flow

Evaluating the naval blockade as a part of military warfare and another sanction targeting the public, Medenizade said that attempts to cut off the country's economic channels are not new. He stated that due to the end of the unipolar world order, global financial flows are not in a structure where the US can completely isolate Iran.

Inflation and Alternative Route Measures

Acknowledging that the public has suffered due to high inflation, currency pressure, and shortages caused by the steps imposed since last year, Medenizade stated that the government aims to protect financial flows. He added that alternative routes and steps are ready against efforts to halt oil exports and create a budget deficit.
