955th Anniversary of the Victory of Malazgirt Celebrated in Ahlat

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the events marking the 955th anniversary of the Victory of Malazgirt, organized by the Archery Foundation at the Ahlat Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation Garden. He stated that they are working to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among 86 million people.

Emphasizing that the construction of the Century of Turkey has begun and the dawn of a great and strong Turkey is breaking, Erdoğan shared hopeful messages regarding the upcoming period.

Internal Front Resilience and Regional Stability

Stating that a new era will open up before the nation once the process for a terrorism-free Turkey reaches its goal, Erdoğan expressed that they will increase the resilience of the internal front.

He voiced that the immediate vicinity, especially Syria and Iraq, will attain peace and stability, and that brotherly peoples in the region will win.

Blood Merchants and Dirty Hands

Saying that those who want to plunge the geography into instability will lose, President Erdoğan noted that blood merchants and opportunists who feed on terrorism will be defeated.

He stated that the dirty hands reaching out to the peace and brotherhood of the region are known, and that the brotherly embrace of the Turkish, Kurdish, and Arab peoples cannot be prevented.

Historical Heritage and the Seljuk Cemetery

Stating that the 10,000 tombstones in the Seljuk Cemetery in Ahlat are witnesses to the thousand-year presence in these lands, Erdoğan expressed that these graves are the title deed of the nation.

He reminded that Ahlat is the yeast of the nation's dough kneaded in Anatolia and the hearth of the martyrs.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli noted in his message published for the 955th anniversary of the Victory of Malazgirt that Anatolia will be a homeland for the Turkish nation until doomsday.

Stating that Malazgirt is the past, Anatolia is honor, and Turkey is the future, Bahçeli came together with citizens.
