AI Chip Order Tripled
To strengthen its data center infrastructure, Amazon has expanded its agreement with Nvidia, tripling its chip order and deciding to add a total of 2 million new Nvidia GPU chips.
Next-Generation Chip Models and Shipment Schedule
The agreement includes advanced GPU models such as Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra, with these hardware chips planned for shipment to Amazon Web Services data centers between 2027 and 2028.
Demand Exceeds Expectations
Nvidia officially stated that since the agreement five months ago to deploy over 1 million Nvidia GPUs for the AWS infrastructure, demand has exceeded expectations.
Technology Integration and Robotic Systems
The agreement covers not only chips but also networking hardware, open models, CPUs, and robotic platforms, with Amazon utilizing Nvidia technologies such as Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac, and Jetson in its warehouse robots.
