AWS and NVIDIA Expand Collaboration for Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure
The two tech giants have agreed to deploy millions of new processors in their global infrastructure and carry out joint projects in various areas.
Amazon Web Services and NVIDIA have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership to strengthen artificial intelligence infrastructures. According to the plans, two million additional graphics processors will be deployed globally between 2027 and 2028.
Global Scale GPU Investment
Within the scope of this new agreement between AWS and NVIDIA, two million additional NVIDIA graphics processors will be added to the global infrastructure. This major shipment is planned to be completed between 2027 and 2028.
This expansion move will proceed in harmony with Amazon's own custom silicon solutions and AWS Trainium chips.
New Processors and Government Projects
NVIDIA Vera processors will be integrated into AWS systems to provide high-performance central processing unit computing for artificial intelligence workloads.
The companies will also establish dedicated artificial intelligence factories for the US government and provide one hundred thousand graphics processors through secure infrastructures.
Technological Integration and Robotics
Amazon's Annapurna Labs will conduct joint work on the new high-bandwidth memory technology and NVLink Fusion.
Current integrations include NVIDIA Nemotron models on Amazon Bedrock and the convergence of Amazon Robotics with NVIDIA's physical artificial intelligence platform.
