Cathie Wood is known for her investments in technology, cryptocurrencies, and nowadays, the field of artificial intelligence. As the largest among the funds she manages, the ARK Innovation ETF boasts a size of billions of dollars as of the end of August.
Wood and her team have allocated a significant portion of this fund's capital to three main AI-connected stocks.
Tesla Investments and Robotaxi-Focused Expectations
Ark Invest has long held high expectations for Tesla shares not only because it is an electric vehicle manufacturer, but also due to its robotaxi fleet and humanoid robot projects. The fund's Tesla position reaches hundreds of millions of dollars.
Company analysts project that robotaxis and autonomous technologies will account for a massive share of the company's revenue and earnings in the coming years.
Tempus AI and Other AI Stocks
Following Tesla, Tempus AI shares make up the second-largest position in the ARK Innovation fund's portfolio. This company increases the weight of AI-focused technology investments within the fund.
