According to the data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the economic confidence index increased in the July 2026 period. Rising by 0.8 percent compared to the previous month, the index reached a value of 100.6.
Consumer and Real Sector
According to the announced data, in August the consumer confidence index increased by 1 percent to take the value of 90.8. The real sector, namely the manufacturing industry confidence index, rose by 1.2 percent to a value of 102.4.
Service and Trade Sectors
In the July period, the service sector confidence index decreased by 0.1 percent, falling to a value of 111.9. The retail trade sector confidence index also decreased by 0.8 percent, taking the value of 110.1.
Construction Sector Data
The construction sector confidence index, which is among the sub-items forming the economic confidence index, was also announced. In the relevant period, the construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.4 percent, seeing the value of 83.1.
