Plaud has officially announced the Plaud One Explorer Edition, a new AI-powered wearable device that allows users to record, transcribe, and summarize their conversations.

Design and Usage

The new AI-powered device developed by Plaud can be worn like traditional earbuds or used via a standalone charging case.

Connectivity and Memory

The charging case includes built-in 4G support to upload and process conversations without needing a phone or wireless network connection. Each earbud features 16MB of local storage and three microphones capable of recording from a distance of up to two meters.

Battery Life and Features

According to information provided by Plaud, the earbuds can record continuously for up to six hours, which constitutes the device's maximum battery life. The earbuds also feature noise-cancellation capabilities and force-sensitive sensor controls on the body.

Charging Case Capabilities

The charging case houses four microphones with a five-meter recording range, a built-in speaker, and 512MB of storage. Chargeable via USB-C, the case offers a total battery life of up to 36 hours.

Artificial Intelligence and Integrations

The device's transcription and summarization features are powered by Plaud Intelligence. An AI button on the charging case activates the Plaud Agent system, which integrates natively with tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack.

Price and Release Date

The price of the Plaud One model has been set at $249.99. Open for pre-orders starting today in selected markets, the device's shipments are expected to begin in late September.
