Galatasaray and Fenerbahce's Pots Determined in Champions League Draw
36 teams are taking part in the major competition. In line with the new format, each team will play a total of 8 matches in the league phase by being paired with two opponents from 4 separate pots.
As the new season draw excitement takes place in the UEFA Champions League, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, representing Turkey, are participating in the draw from Pot 3.
New Format and Pairing Principles
According to the new league phase format of the UEFA Champions League, 36 clubs subjected to coefficient ranking were divided into 4 separate pots. In the draw, each club will determine its matchups by drawing two opponents from each pot.
Throughout the league phase, teams will compete in a total of eight different matches, four at home and four away.
Pot Distribution and Broadcast Information
In Pot 1 of the competition are Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter, Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.
In Pot 3, which includes our representatives Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, there are Feyenoord, Lille, Bodo/Glimt, Napoli, Leipzig, Villarreal, and Shakhtar. The draw is broadcast live on TRT Spor and the TRT Spor YouTube channel.
