Turkish Handball Federation and TED Sign Protocol for Young Handball Players
The Turkish Handball Federation and the Turkish Education Association have taken a joint step to support young handball players in both their academic and athletic lives.
A comprehensive cooperation protocol has been implemented between the Turkish Handball Federation and the Turkish Education Association to jointly support the academic and athletic development of young handball players.
Protocol Ceremony
The cooperation protocol was signed at an official ceremony held at the Ankara Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sevim Handball Hall.
Signatories
The agreement was mutually signed by THF President Mesut Çebi and TED Chairman Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu.
Education and Scholarship Support
Within the scope of the protocol, 14 student-athletes at the 9th-grade level, to be determined by the THF, will study on a scholarship and boarding basis.
School and Year Details
Starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, the students will begin receiving education with a 100% scholarship at TED Polatlı College.
Harmony of Education and Sports
The educational processes of the young athletes will be planned in full compliance with their training, camp, and competition schedules.
Project Objectives
The model aims to create a sustainable system where students can continue their education without moving away from their athletic goals.

Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu stated that TED Polatlı College will be turned into a handball center, while Mesut Çebi noted that the project will grow.
