Scientific and Technological Cooperation Talks Between Vietnam and Singapore
A high-level Vietnamese delegation visiting Singapore met with GovTech and related institutions to discuss digital transformation and public administration projects.
Within the scope of the official visit to Singapore by a high-level delegation led by Tran Cam Tu, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, strategic cooperation steps between the two countries in the fields of science, technology, and innovation were discussed.
Contacts in Singapore and High-Level Talks
Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Central Organization Commission, held a working meeting with Mr. Lee Hong Nghi, Executive Director of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) Government Digital Products Directorate, during his visit to Singapore.
During this meeting, practical implementation issues regarding the strategic cooperation directions determined between the two countries in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation were evaluated.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Center Projects
The talks addressed the effective application of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the quality of public services and the establishment of a secure legal framework for this process.
Additionally, mutual evaluations were made regarding the operational processes of the National Data Center and the High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence Center.
Cooperation in Training for Public Administration
The Vietnamese side expressed its desire to further strengthen institutional cooperation with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in order to develop the practical application skills of public employees and civil servants.
