According to data from the International Committee of Mediterranean Games, Turkey has won 384 gold, 269 silver, and 314 bronze medals in the 19 organizations it has participated in to date.

History and Hosting of the Mediterranean Games

The twentieth edition of the organization, held by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games since 1951, will be hosted by the Italian city of Taranto. Turkey has previously hosted this major organization twice, namely İzmir 1971 and Mersin 2013.
