While new research reveals Gen Z's approach to AI-supported educational technologies, five different calculations based on year-end inflation forecasts for the 2027 minimum wage have been reflected to the public.

According to a new study, Gen Z has a higher awareness of technologies such as AI-supported teachers and virtual reality classrooms compared to other generations participating in the research.

While 18 percent of Gen Z participants see personalized AI-supported teachers among the most promising technologies of the future, 14 percent state that VR and AR classrooms with AI assistants hold promise for the future.

Current Minimum Wage Table

Economic calculations for the upcoming period have begun to be made based on the current minimum wage figures applied as a net of 28,075 TL and a gross of 33,030 TL in 2026.

Scenarios Based on Inflation Forecasts

Five different minimum wage calculations prepared for the year 2027 in line with year-end inflation forecasts have been shaped taking into account the projections of relevant institutions.

Central Bank and Medium-Term Program Forecasts

While it is projected that the net minimum wage will be 35,936 TL according to the Central Bank's year-end inflation forecast of 28 percent, this figure rises to the level of 36,049 TL in the 28.4 percent forecast in the Medium-Term Program.

Survey and Institution Expectations

While the 29.61 percent expectation in the CBRT Market Participants Survey brings the net minimum wage to 36,389 TL, AA Finance's 29.66 percent forecast makes it 36,403 TL, and the Financial Institutions Association's 30.39 percent forecast makes it 36,608 TL.

Commission Decision Expected

The definitive figure for the upcoming period will become clear following the official evaluations to be made by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which will convene in December.
