Anthropic Updates Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy
Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has announced new usage rules banning model abuse, election interference, and weapon software.
Anthropic has shared its new usage policy with the public, explicitly prohibiting the mistreatment of artificial intelligence models, interference in election processes, and weapon software.
New Usage Policy and Restrictions
With the update it implemented, Anthropic has put new and stricter rules regarding the use of artificial intelligence models into effect.
Measures Against Model Abuse
One of the most striking clauses of the new policy is that it strictly prohibits users from engaging in prolonged verbal abuse against artificial intelligence models.
The company stated that this rule will only be applied in extreme cases where users persistently act cruelly toward models without a clear purpose.
Protection of Democratic Processes
Within the scope of the policy, actions aimed at disrupting elections and activities that mislead voters are also among the banned topics.
Deceptive campaigns such as operating fake accounts or setting up fabricated news sites are also blocked under this scope.
