Grok Bot Will Route Different Artificial Intelligence Models in the New Era
As SpaceX transforms the Grok Bot agent service into a router that selects between different artificial intelligence models, it is placing heavy emphasis on infrastructure work.
SpaceX is updating the Grok Bot agent service to select different artificial intelligence models such as Anthropic Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, and Suno, while focusing on AI infrastructure by opening the Colossus data center to other companies.
Transformation into a Model Router
SpaceX announced that it has transformed the Grok Bot agent service into a structure that will select the models that will yield the best results based on user requests. CEO Elon Musk stated that simple questions will be routed to fast models and complex questions to large models.
Artificial Intelligence Models to Be Used
Models that can be accessed through the system include Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 version, the image generator MidJourney, the audio generator Suno, and the company's own model Grok 4.7.
Infrastructure and Data Center-Focused Strategy
Allowing Grok Bot to access different models in the background indicates that the company is shifting toward infrastructure services that support other artificial intelligence companies rather than solely developing frontier models.
Colossus Data Center Sharing
SpaceX previously reached an agreement with Anthropic for the use of the massive Colossus data center. Additionally, it was confirmed that an open-source model called Beam, developed by Reflection AI, is being trained on these servers.
