Hardware and AI startup Natura, founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, has announced Interface, a new $99 smart ring that brings AI agents to your finger. The ring allows users to perform tasks via voice commands while also offering comprehensive health tracking.

The era of the AI-focused smart ring

Founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, the founder of Rolling Square, the Natura startup is designed to be used in the era of AI agents. Called Interface, this new smart ring aims to let users complete tasks and record their thoughts using voice commands without touching their phones.

Broad AI application support

When launched, the device will be able to connect with various AI agents and applications, including Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grok Bot, Claude, and ChatGPT. Users will be able to decide themselves which AI assistant handles which task.

Comprehensive health tracking features

In addition to managing AI assistants, the device also functions as a health tracker. The ring can monitor metrics such as heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, daily step count, and skin temperature.

Pricing and subscription model

Pre-orders are scheduled to begin next month, with shipments planned for December or January. The initial launch price is set at $99, and a monthly subscription fee of $9 is planned after a 3 to 6-month free trial period.

Battery life and charging times

According to the company, the smart ring can offer a battery life of six to twelve days on a full charge, depending on usage habits. A full charge of the device takes up to one hundred minutes.
