The Australian Recording Industry Association, which oversees music charts in Australia, has issued a ban on AI-made songs following developments in July.

In Australia, songs entirely produced by artificial intelligence have been banned from entering the charts managed by the Australian Recording Industry Association. In a statement released by the institution, it was announced that works entirely generated by artificial intelligence will not be accepted into the ARIA charts as of August 28.
Exceptions
The status of works that are largely human-produced but receive AI support during the recording stage has been clarified. It was officially stated that such songs, which do not raise concerns about manipulating chart operations, may still enter the charts.
Background of the Decision
The process accelerated after a song produced with artificial intelligence became one of the most played works on Australian radios. The fact that the same track climbed up to the fourth spot on two separate ARIA charts in July was influential in making this decision.
