Canakkale Culture Road Festival Opens Its Doors
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkey Culture Route Festival has kicked off in its 16th stop, Canakkale, with events lasting for 9 days.
The art and culture marathon lasting nine days has enthusiastically begun in Canakkale, the 16th stop of the Turkey Culture Route Festival held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Opening Ceremony Held
The opening of the organization, held for the fifth time in Canakkale, the 16th stop of the Turkey Culture Route Festival, took place.
The opening program at the Anadolu Hamidiye Bastion Hangar Building was held with the participation of protocol and ministry officials.
Historical and Cultural Heritage
In the speeches made at the opening, the importance of the historical heritage extending from the Trojan Wars to the Gallipoli Campaign was emphasized.
It was also stated that a large number of artifacts from Turkey had been sent for the ongoing international exhibition at the Colosseum in Rome.
Gastronomy and Flavor Points
A total of 52 Flavor Points were designated throughout the city to promote Canakkale's rich culinary culture.
Visitors have the opportunity to experience cheese, sardines, keskek, and local olive oil dishes directly on-site.
Talks and Workshops
Throughout the festival, talks focusing on archaeology and mythology are organized with the participation of expert names.
Traditional handicrafts workshops such as carpets, tiles, marbling, and ceramics take place at the Anadolu Hamidiye Bastion.
Children's Events and Film
Special theater and workshop activities are organized for young visitors within the scope of the program.
The TÜRSAK Foundation's 22nd Children's Film Festival also meets with children among the events.
Concert Marathon
Famous artists will take the stage at the Anadolu Hamidiye Bastion Open-Air Stage during the nine-day period.
Starting with Ceza, names such as Kıraç, Bengü, Simge, and Sefo will also meet with music lovers in the concert marathon.
