Diyarbakır Culture Road Festival Opens Its Doors for the Fifth Time
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the festival will bring together the city's history and art from October 10 to 18.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkey Culture Road Festival will be held in Diyarbakır for the fifth time between October 10 and 18. Throughout the festival, concerts, theatrical plays, exhibitions, gastronomy events, and children's activities will take place.
Festival Venues
During the festival between October 10 and 18, the city's historical and cultural fabric will be brought together with different artistic disciplines.
Diyarbakır's walled historical center, the İçkale Museum Complex, and various culture and art venues across the city will serve as the meeting points of the festival.
Ministry Statement
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that Diyarbakır is one of the cities strongly reflecting Turkey's cultural richness.
Ersoy expressed that within the scope of the festival, the city's historical venues, museums, and squares will meet with art events.
Gastronomy Program
Within the scope of the festival, Diyarbakır's ancient culinary culture will be brought to the forefront, featuring more than 40 Taste Points.
In the program hosted by Gamze Cizreli, renowned chefs and gastronomy writers will be guests at the events.
Concert Events
Nevruz Park will host free concerts throughout the festival featuring names such as Hakan Altun, Mert Demir, Sefo, and Sagopa Kajmer.
Theatrical Plays
In the festival's theater program, numerous plays will meet art lovers at the Diyarbakır State Theater and various stages.
Exhibitions
The Diyarbakır Archaeology Museum will host three different exhibitions, including the Sacred Relics of the Ottomans and Living Heritage.
Children's Activities
The Yenikapı Hançepek Square Children's Village will be an area where young visitors will experience enthusiasm through traditional sports and handicrafts.
