International Culture, Art and Peace Festival Held in Saray
The festival, attended by guests from home and abroad, was celebrated with protocol speeches and a parade.
The 9th International 16th Traditional Culture, Art and Peace Festival, organized by the Saray Municipality, was held with the intensive participation of protocol members and citizens.
Opening Ceremony of the Festival
The event organized by the Saray Municipality began with Saray Mayor Abdul Taşyasan laying a wreath at the Atatürk Monument.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung.
Protocol Speeches Were Made
Mayor Abdul Taşyasan provided information about the events organized within the scope of the festival.
Vareş Mayor Malik Rizvanvic and Tekirdağ Deputies Nurten Yontar and İlhami Özcan Aygun delivered speeches and conveyed their best wishes.
Governor Soytürk's Evaluations
In his speech, Governor Soytürk compared Saray to his hometown Karasu and emphasized the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the district.
Welcoming the guests from Bosnia and Bulgaria, he wished the festival to be auspicious.
Parade and Festival Fire
Following the protocol speeches, the festival fire was lit and a peace dove was released by Governor Soytürk and protocol members.
Later in the program, a colorful parade was held with the participation of protocol members and citizens.
