Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center Enters Service as of September 1
Initiating a new era in insurance, the Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center will collect traffic and casco damage applications from a single point.
Prepared by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency, the Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center will begin operations on September 1.
Establishment and Purpose of the Center
Prepared by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency, the Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center will enter service as of September 1. Following the completion of technical studies, all insurance companies have been integrated into the center.
The main purpose of the application is to make the damage notification process more understandable and accessible for citizens. It also aims to transmit notifications to the relevant processes faster and in a more coordinated manner.
Scope and Initial Areas of Use
The initial areas of use will be traffic and casco insurances. Citizens will be able to report damages occurring to their vehicles through this joint center.
Thus, citizens will not have to search for application routes among the communication channels of different companies, and the process will be simplified.
Action Plan and the New Era
The establishment of the new center constitutes a part of the efforts to reduce value loss disputes in traffic insurance. SEDDK had prepared a five-item action plan for this purpose.
Following the implementation of the first four steps, the commissioning of the center will mark the transition to the final stage of the plan. The center will contribute to the regular monitoring of problems.
Complaint and Notification Opportunities
The scope of duty of Alo 193 will not be limited solely to damage notifications. Citizens will also be able to convey grievances and complaints they encounter during the damage process.
Thus, it will become possible both to make damage notifications and to convey problems that may arise in the process to the relevant institution through the same center.
