Meeting of Aluminum and Art: 13th Element Exhibition
Organized by ASAŞSANAT and focusing on aluminum as a material, the 13th Element exhibition opens its doors at the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum with works by 29 artists.
Brought to life by ASAŞSANAT and curated by Emre Zeytinoğlu, the "13th Element" exhibition brings together unique works produced by 29 artists using aluminum with art lovers at the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum.
Purpose and Scope of the Exhibition
Established with ASAŞ's vision of bringing industrial accumulation together with art, ASAŞSANAT makes the expressive possibilities of aluminum in contemporary sculpture visible. The exhibition, with Brieflyart undertaking the project management, opens to visitors following a special invitation held on Tuesday, October 20.
Aesthetic Dimension of the Material
Taking its name from the 13th element of the periodic table, the exhibition brings together sculptures and forms produced by 29 different artists using aluminum. Characteristics of aluminum such as flexibility, lightness, and corrosion resistance are carried to a new dimension with different aesthetic approaches.
Industry and Art Collaboration
The 13th Element underlines the strong cooperation established between industry and art. ASAŞ's advanced production facilities and industrial infrastructure open their doors completely to artists, enabling the realization of large-scale art production.
Scheduled Talks
Throughout the exhibition, three separate talks will be held covering many topics from the historical development of sculpture art to its technological transformation. In these sessions, experts in their fields will come together with art enthusiasts.

The exhibition can be visited at the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum between October 21 and November 10, 2026. The museum is closed on Mondays and is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on other days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
