Strauss Philharmonie is coming to Turkey with the Strauss Concert Show

Bringing Vienna's long-standing classical music tradition to the stage, the Strauss Philharmonie will give two concerts in Turkey with its Strauss Concert Show. The events will take place in Ankara and Istanbul.

Concert Schedule and Organizers

Organized by Musicarium and Y Kültür Sanat, the concerts will feature 15 musicians and a soprano under the direction of conductor Vinicius Kattah.

Works in the Repertoire

In addition to Johann Strauss II's The Blue Danube waltz and Johann Strauss I's Radetzky March, works by Mozart, Kálmán, Fučík, and Lehár will be performed.

Visual and Narrative Elements

While the orchestra members will take the stage in period-appropriate costumes, a soprano will perform pieces from the Vienna repertoire, and a presenter will share musical history anecdotes.

Ankara and Istanbul Programme

The first of the concerts will be presented to music lovers at the CSO Ada Ankara Ziraat Bankası Main Hall, and the other at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center Türk Telekom Opera Hall.
