From Istanbul to Kaş, a wide geography brings many events ranging from jazz and classical music to cinema together with art lovers.
In the last weekend of August, jazz, classical music, cinema and electronic music events take place across Istanbul, Kaş, Çatalca, Bodrum and Çanakkale.
Events Starting on Friday
The Kaş Jazz Festival opens its doors to music lovers on Friday, August 28 with the theme "Roots and Migrations". The Çatalca Film Festival, Arter exhibition tour and the Gümüşlük Music Festival in Bodrum are also on the schedule for the same day.
Saturday Highlights
David Garrett meets music lovers in Harbiye on Saturday, August 29, while the 1st Çatalca Film Festival holds its closing ceremony. Meanwhile, the TÜRSAK Children's Film Festival appeals to children with its Çanakkale leg.
Victory Day and Weekend Finale
The enthusiasm of August 30 Victory Day is celebrated with jazz in Kaş, Jazz and Picnic in the Forest at Lifepark, and electronic music events in İzmir. While classical music concerts continue in Gümüşlük, the Kalamış Summer Festival makes its finale in Istanbul.
