Torbalı 2nd Autumn Book Days Kick Off at Ertan Ünver Nation's Park
Organized specifically for Torbalı's liberation anniversary and hosting numerous authors, the event offers a rich cultural program throughout the week.
Organized for the second time by the Torbalı Municipality, the Autumn Book Days are opening their doors to visitors at the Ertan Ünver Nation's Park, specially dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the district's liberation.

Organized for the second time this year by the Torbalı Municipality, the Autumn Book Days are starting today at the Ertan Ünver Nation's Park under the theme "In the Heart of History, in the Footsteps of Wisdom".
Rich Program Content
As part of the event program prepared specially for the 104th anniversary of Torbalı's liberation, 104 guests, 35 publishing houses, 60 book stands, and 35 talks will meet with visitors throughout the week.
Guest of Honor and Talks
Sociologist and author Prof. Dr. Emre Kongar will be the guest of honor for the gathering, which will run until September 6th. Kongar will come together with readers for a talk titled "The Historical Significance of the Atatürk Republic".
Cultural and Artistic Activities
Throughout the week, book signings, exhibitions, workshops, children's activities, theater performances, and concerts will be presented to art lovers, alongside talks on various topics.
Emphasis on Metropolis Ancient City
The historical heritage of the district, the Metropolis Ancient City, will hold a special place in the organization. The first head of excavations, Prof. Dr. Recep Meriç, and historian Dr. Yasin Kayış will speak about the city's memory.
Free Shuttle Services
Visitors will be able to attend the program, organized daily between 18:00 and 00:00 until September 6th, and take advantage of free shuttle services.
