Commemoration Ceremony and Funeral Details

A commemoration ceremony for Faruk Günuğur will be held at the Büyük Tiyatro in Ankara on Thursday, August 27 at 14:00.

Following the ceremony, the late artist's funeral will be buried at the Cebeci Asri Cemetery after the afternoon prayer.

55 Years Dedicated to Art

Günuğur, who dedicated approximately 55 years of his life to art, undertook important roles such as acting, directing, and theatre management alongside acting.

In the later periods of his career, he staged the play Vatan Yahut Namık Kemal, in which he had previously starred, years later and took on the leading role.
