Implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkey Culture Route Festival is opening its doors for the fifth time to meet art lovers in Diyarbakır. The nine-day events will take place in the city's historical venues.

Festival Dates and Venues

The Turkey Culture Route Festival is being held in Diyarbakır between October 10 and 18, and the city is hosting this organization for the fifth time.

For nine days, the historical center surrounded by walls, the İçkale Museum Complex, and various culture and arts venues of the city have been designated as the main meeting points of the events.

Minister Ersoy's Evaluation

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy expressed his wish that the festival will bring significant dynamism to the city's rich cultural life.

Gastronomy and Culinary Gatherings

Within the scope of the festival, Gamze Cizreli is hosting Diyarbakır cuisine, while numerous renowned chefs and gastronomy experts take part as guests.

While there are more than 40 Flavor Points along the gastronomy route, expert names bring local tastes together with visitors.

Concerts and Performing Arts

Hakan Altun, Mert Demir, Sefo, Sagopa Kajmer, Poizi, Derya Uluğ, Bengü, Murat Boz, and Fatma Turgut will take the stage at free concerts to be held at Nevruz Park.

In addition to musical performances, various theater screenings and musicals are presented to the appreciation of art lovers throughout the festival.

Exhibitions and Cultural Venues

Important exhibitions are opening their doors at the Diyarbakır Archaeology Museum, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı House Ethnography Museum, Paşa Hamamı, and other culture houses.

Visitors find the opportunity to examine special collections such as the Sacred Relics of the Ottomans, Living Heritage: Diyarbakır Exhibition, and Tribute to Gabriel.

Children's and Side Events

Within the scope of the festival program, special Children's Village activities as well as colorful side events such as PhotoMarathon Diyarbakır are organized.
