International Art Workshop in Samarkand
Turkish Cypriot painter Zühre Özkaraman participated in the international art workshop titled "Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li Gavhari" held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This important event enabled artists to come together and collaborate on production.
Institutions such as the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Artists' Union of Azerbaijan, the Artists' Union of Uzbekistan, and the International Artists Club undertook the organization of the workshop jointly.
Group Exhibition at the Dustmatboy Gallery
Following the completion of the workshop, a comprehensive exhibition was organized on August 26 at the Dustmatboy Gallery. The exhibition ensured that the artist's works reached wide audiences.
At the exhibition, works by 18 artists from Uzbekistan and 12 artists from abroad were showcased side by side. The works of Turkish Cypriot painter Zühre Özkaraman were also featured in this exhibition.
Sources of Inspiration and Produced Works
Drawing deep inspiration from Samarkand's historical texture, rich architecture, nature, and contemporary life, the artists painted on canvas.
Each participating artist had the opportunity to produce completely free-themed works with special studies reflecting their own artistic style.
