Two-Day Celebration Program for Victory Day from Menderes Municipality
Menderes Municipality is organizing a two-day event featuring cortege marches and concerts in the coastal area on the anniversary of August 30 Victory Day.
A comprehensive two-day celebration program featuring cortege marches and concerts in the coastal region has been prepared by Menderes Municipality on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day.
Details of the Celebration Program
Menderes Municipality will celebrate August 30 Victory Day with events to be held in the coastal region on August 29-30. Cortege marches and concerts will meet with citizens during the weekend-long celebrations.
First Day Gümüldür Events
On Saturday, the first day of the two-day program, a cortege march will start at 20:00 in front of Hasan Eren Primary School. Following the march, Grup Notion will take the stage at the Gümüldür Amphitheatre.
Second Day Özdere Program
On Sunday, August 30, the program in Özdere will continue with a cortege starting at 20:30 from Sevgi Park, following the coastal road and ending at Arkadaş Kafe. At Arkadaş Kafe, the Özdere Folk Dance Ensemble will perform at 21:00, followed by a Grup Notion concert at 21:30.
Free Transportation Service
Free shuttle service will be provided for citizens from Menderes Center to the events. On Saturday for the Gümüldür program, vehicles will depart from in front of Menderes Municipality at 19:00 and return from the Gümüldür Amphitheatre at 22:30. On Sunday, the return time for the shuttles departing from in front of the municipality at 19:30 has been set as 23:00 from Özdere Arkadaş Kafe.

Menderes Acting Mayor Asuman Şen stated that they will experience this enthusiasm together on the 104th anniversary of the independence struggle, invited all residents of Menderes to the events, and commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms with mercy.
