Burhaniye District Health Director Uzm. Dr. Betül Erten Akbey visited Bahçelievler Neighborhood Head Yasemin Kozan in her office to discuss the neighborhood's demands and current issues in the field of health.

During the visit in the Burhaniye district, District Health Director Uzm. Dr. Betül Erten Akbey and Bahçelievler Neighborhood Head Yasemin Kozan came together.

During the visit, shortcomings regarding the neighborhood's health infrastructure and issues requiring solutions were discussed in detail.

Health Center and Transportation Problems

Head Yasemin Kozan conveyed the lack of a health center in the neighborhood and their requests for the construction of a new center to the director.

Particularly, the transportation difficulties experienced by elderly and sick citizens while going to physicians in other neighborhoods were comprehensively conveyed.

Second Family Physician Demand

It was emphasized that a second family physician must definitely be assigned to the region so that neighborhood residents can access health services more easily.
